I thought it looked like a good old one and also thought it wouldn't go that high either but by todays prices I think I did ok? Will post better pics once I clean it up. Lew |

Hi All
The barong arrived today and there is good news and bad news. First when I opened the box the tip of the scaabbard was broken off and the rattan bindings were broken and glued down in a few spots very sloppy work. So I cut off all the rattan and stripped off the glue. I refinished the scabbard with some light sanding and brown Kiwi shoe polish. I will have to put new binding on the scabbard at a later date here are a few pics. Btw I etched the barong and it has random patten welded blade Lew |
