Hi all
Sorry for returning late. Here is our exemplar: Blade 20 inches, very well forged high carbon steel:  Handle is horn, solid piece (but not Rhino horn) decorated with silver imitation coins and silver pommel cap.  Total length 26 inches. I do not have the scabbard for it, but another exemplar I had seen was with a leather covered scabbard mounted with silver locket and chape with fine filigree work . I think it is an early type. Early 19 C. or a bit earlier. |
