Like said before, the blade is beautiful. While I've seen red painted scabbards I never have seen them in blue. And I am nearly sure, that the hilt (I think it's wood) is coated by something, could be what some people would call patina, old dirt or a coating of something. I think that the painting of the scabbard isn't original, just my humble opinion. It's a very nice BB and I would be happy to have it in my own collection. Regards, Detlef |

Look at this picture, in down, near the ferrule, the original colour (brown) is seen, the gray colour seem to be a coating of some sort.
