Will M Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: In the wee woods north of Napanee Ontario Posts: 395	Quite possible it is silver plate. Easy to tell if you file a small spot where you won't notice it. As for the blade it looks original. Double sided blades are common many centuries before Fairbairn Sykes made their dagger.
