I agree with Richard.
The sugata (shape) is pore. This kind of blades and mounting where made in de Meiji period. But still an antique piece from Japan. Jonno |

The blade shows a hamon... It may be poor quality, but it's a 'real' blade. As for the shape, it's made for concealment.

yes, it looks like a hamon and yes it is real blade. But when i see the pictures and judge the nioi guchi, then I don't think it is a real nihon-to.
