No, Tim, your mask is not taiwanese. Taiwanese aboriginal tribes have NO mask. It is not in their tradition. The Atayal and the Saysiat were tatooing their faces for religious purpose (see pic 1); the Yami (Tao) were having a special kind of very interesting ritual silver helmet that, placed on the head, was covering the face, but it was not a mask (pic 2).
