Default Mexican knives from Baja california.

Mexican knives from Baja california.
regional ethnographic knives from mexico.

these are called "desert knives"--"cuchillos del desierto"
there is a large array of knives made around the city of la paz.
According to what i can find there is still about 20 knife makers in this area making traditional knives, bowies and machetes.

there is also a novelty "pistol" shaped pocket knife similar to the pocket knives made in Chile ..
