Default EUROPEAN SHOTGUN FOR COMMENT

I HAVE HAD THIS FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW,WAS TOLD WHEN I BOUGHT IT WAS MADE IN BELGIUM.I LIKE THE STOCK WHICH IS CARVED WITH A DEER,WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT MY DOUBLE BARREL BLACKPOWDER SHOTGUN,LIKE MAKER AND APPROX WHICH YEAR,KIND REGARDS RAJESH

Hi Rajesh,
Very difficult to precise the gun maker; this type of guns, wood carving included, was made by a large number of them.
It could well be from the last quarter 19th century.
If it is, as you were told, of Belgium origin, it should have the Liege proof mark somewhere. It is a very small mark; try and find it on the barrels near the breach. Also if you dismount the barrel, which in this case should be an easy operation, you might (might) smith and proof marks underneath.
Other members should know better about your gun, though.
