Default Old collection / collector

I am doing research on Mr. A. Gall and his collection. Alfons Albert Gunther Gall (born 1893) was a German (1939 naturalized Dutch) who lived in Soerabaija where he had a car business ('autohandel'). He was befriended with the archeologist A. Stutterheim. He was interested in early metal weapons, travelled as much as he could through remote parts of Indonesia to ask for the oldest types of metal weapons he could find and add to his collection. He must have had an enormous collection. He had the largest contribution to the 1938 weapon exhibition (see: 'Catalogus van de wapententoonstelling, Museum Sono Boedojo, Sekaten Jogja, 5-12 Mei 1938, 1938.'), see the online catalogue (KITLV): http://62.41.28.253/cgi-bin/kit.exe?...----------IN-0
Can anyone tell me more about the man and his collection?

Izakk, welcome to the forum. We thought about your post for a time and decided it would probably run better in the main forum as the collector you are seeking info on seems to have had a wider interest than just keris. Hopefully someone here will have some info for you. I found little from my internet searching.
