What China possessed by self lacks the weapon seen . Its right and wrong often is hard to practise . The very the most superb person of only technology can drive it . Its power right and wrong is often big . The effect of hook is the weapons that wind enemy , and crescent moon and awl are used for cutting fighting the enemy the throat of person .

I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THIS TYPE OF WEAPON TO BE FACINATING, FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN THEY WERE USUALLY USED AS A PAIR AND THE FIGHTER REMINDS ME OF A PRAYING MANTIS. THERE IS USUALLY A LEATHER PIECE ON THE GRIP, I SAW THEM USED IN SEVERAL CHINESE MOVIES BUT IN ONLY ONE AMERICAN MOVIE ( THE GOLDEN CHILD WITH EDDIE MURPHY)

I HAVE A PAIR BUT I GOT THEM ONE AT A TIME SO THEY ARE NOT A EXACT MATCH. A BOOK I HAVE REFERS TO THIS FORM AS "TIGER HEAD DOUBLE HOOK" OR IN CHINESE (HU TOU SHUANG GOU) THE FORM IS SAID TO DATE FROM 722-222 BC SPRING AND AUTUMN PERIOD AND THE WARRING STATES PERIOD. THE HOOKS COULD BE USED TO ATTACK MENS OR HORSE LEGS ALSO TO DEFLECT OR SNARE SPEARS OR SWORDS AND THE CRESENT BLADE AND SPIKES COULD THEN BE USED AT VERY CLOSE QUARTERS. |
