For sale a 19th century silver mounted janbiyya of the Hodeida type, from the Tihama planes.
With owner’s name engraved on the pommel.
The hilt engraved with the silver maker’s hallmark in Temani (Yemenite –hebrew).
Blade length 19 cms. (7 ½”), total length 36 cms. (14”).
Price 500 Euros or 650 US Dollars, shipped anywhere, paypal included.
