				 |  New Kampilan for comment 
			
			As promised, here are pics of my new Kampilan. History is: picked (not by me) from an estate/garage sale of a Vet who got it from a Castle in France during WWII. Length is 41", blade 31.5". After the initial minor cleanup, there are brass inlays the length of the spine and silver inlays near the tip. There was dark red hair in the handle at one point. Still some remnants. Comments? I'm quite pleased with this piece and for a reasonable price. I'll post more pics after this post goes up. |
