Thanks for the extra info, but still not traditional Bugis. Anyway, all that looks silver may not always be silver...

The other thing of course is the blade is not a Bugis blade anyway. Could be Sumatran in origin, but not a Bugis-style blade.

The hilt is Sulawesi style, and as I had mentioned before, is quite nice.
