Yes, i am aware of our past. So basically a lot of indonesian sword types are more or less known to me. I bought it via a local website without any reference to previous owners/history. I must say that when you bump into small "collections" from our colonial past, it is quite common to find Moroccan jambiya knifes and other african weapons. Simply becasue often ships sailed around africa or later via Suez, but then stopped in Casablanca for various reasons. Everything collected on its way than is labelled by the family as " Indonesian" . Or "Indie" as we called it before 1948. All together I see a lot of Dha voters. ![]() Interesting. |

It is a Burmese Dha blade. Nice to see markings on it.

The marking looks more like a double dorje to me than a Christian cross, which would put it more firmly in "Dha Land".

I agree that this is a dha blade. The tip style is one of them Hua's.
![]() In looking at it closely, I also tend to think it is a blade with respectable age. |
