that is beautiful... the clean cut lines... the patination... the gold and wootz...
I have seen "katar" written as Bundi dagger, kataram, katara, jamadhar, etc.

Very nice seems not to have been cleaned or messed with the carving is very crisp.

A maiden playing the veena, deer are attracted. This is a standard depiction of a musical mode, TODI, often shown as this in a picture.
The other side is plainly Krishna and Radha. A REALLY nice piece! |
