Fantastic shots Michael! Thanks for posting. The (what looks like) Italian (Venetian?) storta on the far left of the last few pics looks awesome. Definitely one of my favourite blade shapes. Here's another for comparison.
I won't bother commenting on the armour too much ![]() ![]() Many thanks for sharing! Emanuel |

Hi Emanuel,
You're right: different times but the same zoomorphic style employed for arising both awe and fencing off at the same time. ![]() ![]() Best, Michael |

Hi Chris,
We should not forget that the biggest part of the work was done by someone on the Russian forum. I just picked them up and reoworked on some for better quality. That is, I think, the real blessing of the internet: communites who share internationally. ![]() ![]() Cheers, Michael |

We are not worthy, we are not worthy, we are not worthy... ( 2b repeated umpteenth times). A million thanks. BTW: Any pictures of Napoleonic Swords? M "The Other" Manolo |

Sorry, Manolo,
But - no: I posted anything I could find. Btw, Napoleonic items are regrettably not covered by my range of either expertise or archives. ![]() ![]() m |
