That's what I was thinking that this was an older one. You are right Steve.

Thanks for the comments. Glad to hear. I must say that I'm impressed with workmanship.
I think the blade is laminated as well. Hard to photograph though.

Yup, definitely laminated. This blade could use a mild etch...
