The seller opines these are powder flasks, but i don't think so.
Could they be Moroccan? just my idea The metal looks like silver. The gourds seem to be natural stuff. The largest one measures aprox. 15 cms (6"). Anyone familiar with these things? Thanks in advance Fernando . |

I believe these to be powder flasks ? from Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan etc...) A number of them have appeared on the market in London in recent years.

They are not powder flask. They are used for snuff

yes you are right snuff is a powder. I do like these examples they are well decorated
