I don't want to suggest that this is a trick of some kind, but this does seem to imply that there is not great skill to be learned here as the woman is completely untrained and unfocusses for this. I wonder if the water they keep giving here doesn't have some kind of numbing agent in it.
Anyway, while certainly Debus isn't "black magic power" it also isn't any major form of self defense either.
Atlantia, i saw some of the Ring of Fire series years ago, but i only saw the one in you mentioned this past year.
