I've also created magnetic stands.I can use them for any sort of sword, knife, axe...even with scabbard. Useless to have one stand for one knife, it's easy to change when I want !

Atlantia, I posted the pictures of the Rapier in the European Armoury forum hoping to get more information on it than I have now, which is little to none. If you wouldn't mind please take a look at it there and if you would like I can even post close-ups of the 'mounting system'.

Most of my stuff is hung via rare earth magnets and small picture hooks with blued hardened steel nails and a bit of blued steel wire. The bottom photo I used a walking stick holder for some of my spears and clubs.

I use broom/mop holders to keep Northern Luzon (Philipppines) spears standing in attention :-)
Some ask me why I keep spears at home .... I say... "to be better prepared in case the Japanese invade again" Old ifugaw and igorot friends who lived through WWII get a big laugh! |
