Yes that is a jamadar katari and a nice example

These daggers come from the Hindu Kush region and are worn as a status symbol much like the Arab jambiya. Below is a brass hilted version of the dagger from my collection.

Oriental Arms didn't have very many on their SOLD section. Are they rare?
