Too short for a cavalryman. I think mongols appreciated good business-like weapons. I donīt have much experience in the San Francisco bath houses, but somehow I donīt believe this kind of work is representative of the mongols. Looks like a tourist model.

thisd item is modern made for sure !!!.
lok at the blade and handle, and the fact the decoration is enamel ! sure the mongols, up untill recently, bat is before the comming of communisim. had such swords, normaly with gold and jade handles and fancy multifullerd blades and such, but these were not for use as weapons , they were items of dress for the rich and items used in religious practices.. this one is very very modern ![]() the traditional styles of mongol sword used in recent times.. 1500- now are quite different in style, |
