Thanks Gav and David!!! It was interesting reviewing this history and really put some perspective on the ongoing research concerning makers markings and trade blades. I'd really like to see Marc come in on this as he has such in depth knowledge of the swords of Spain, and so many years of specialized study on them. Mine is simply reviewing resources at hand.
