Nice golok!

I think the seller is correct about (South) Sulawesi.
This kind of golok originates from West Java but is also found on South Sulawesi and sometimes in the nearby Eastern part of Sumatra.
Maybe this golok variation was brought there by Sundanese who settled outside Java?
The style of the hilt looks South Sulawesi, maybe Makassar, to me.
