I consider them to be "pieces made for turists", as I have also seen them in piles in turistic centre Djerba (Tunisia), in Tunis (capital) and in Tripolis (Libya). You can, buy it in handicraft shops in hotels, there, too. Sorry and regards, Martin

that example you've just posted is the 'best' recently made Tuareg dagger that I've seen. The blade (even though it has a 'ground' fuller) especially. Assuming the blade is tempered and hardened, a very nice piece.....a bit pricey though ![]() David |
