I think we might be doing the "Gilbo" a injustice here. He is not Dominic as some suspect, his IP address is indeed from California, but there is certainly a mystery here as to why Dominic posted the same sword on Sword Forum.Carl, do you know Dominic?
As far as i can tell Carl you are more into heavy metal than ornamental iron, but then after listening to your music it is probably good that you have a day job.
Do yourself a favor. If you want to sell this read the rules first. You need to post it in our swap forum. We don't sell ot trade in this part of the forum. Sell it to the highest bidder if you will. You will not get an appraisal here i am afraid. But yes, it is worth "something" and if you take offers you will probably get a fair price for it.
Sorry to hear that your town's on fire.

I apologize for any confusion; but such serendipity !
Perhaps Dominic was offered this piece by our Californian friend .
I look forward to this being resolved .

That is precisely the case.

You guys have sharp eyes, but do remember that there is often a perfectly reasonable explanation for odd circumstances.

Returning you now to your regularly-scheduled discussion.
