I wonder if the Seller wound the cord for the munsala around the handle for the pictures.

I can't tell if this sword has a staple guard or not; I think I see holes for one.

I have a kamp with a similar forging pattern which Cecil Q. dated mid 19thC.
The hilt shows much more wear than this example.

Older blade, newer hilt?
