Oh yeah, that was a tough fight all right.
  But you may have paid too much for it...  I see what you mean that it might be laminated. One of the other pics seems to show some interesting lines. If so i'd say you got a great deal. If not i'd say you got a good deal.  Either way, i don't think i would call this a parang.
