![]() Personally I would contact the seller, I don't remember him mentioning the damage/repair, if he is ethical and honest he should at least offer you a discount. The blade looks good.....is it possible that part of the handle is ivory ? If you look at the top surface of the 'white rings' is there a sort of criss-cross pattern ? Regards David |

no, he has not mentioned the repair, but remember that the dagger it's arrived firm and the pictures you see are of a moment when I have already started to disconnect the handle. I think that after the restoration that I will do the result will be fine ![]() ![]() |

Hello Willem, thank you. I don't think that on the sudanese daggers that have an ivory pommel there was a coin, I see always a silver cup...
