Rick Vikingsword Staff Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 6,336	I fed my karud's rhino scales with lanolin . Smeared it on and let it absorb overnight; cleaned the excess off the next day ; that was 2 years ago . I heat the house with a wood stove and the scales are just fine .
