The new wrongko is nice, but personally i would put the old hilt back on. It looks like nicer wood and better workmanship (though i can't see it close up) and it is my understanding that a hilt of darker wood than the wrongko is often desirable anyway.

You're 100% right, I also prefer the old hilt. It has darker wood and match better with the new warangka. But since the old hilt has a 2 cm crack just near the Selut then I put my other sandalwood hilt to replace it. I will try to put some glue on the damage hilt in order to restore it's original shape. The old selut didnot match to the mendak, maybe I should have someone to gold pleted the selut. any comment for the keris? |

I agree with David but IMO try to change the selut with another better (maybe silver with yakut stones).
Keris seems a nice one. |
