Default Klewang? Mandau?

I thought I knew what this was until I read these notes!
The larger blade 21", overall in scabbard 30". Bone pommel carved as a ? mythic animal with hair tufts. Scabbard bound with rattan. A second rough scabbard is attached by rattan toggles, containing a 3" blade on a 12" haft. this scabbard has traces of hair and a wisp at the end. Opinions welcome

This sounds very much like a mandau.

That would warrant a seperate thread.

Try attaching the pics just before posting the message - some editing steps can result in already uploaded pics going missing...
