Agree with Valjhun. These daggers are mostly made in India and appear around the world in search of unsuspected tourists to whom it is marketed as old.

Thanks! I had my suspicions about it, and wanted them confirmed. Don't worry, I only paid a reproduction price for it, and it doesn't seem like a bad little dagger in that context.
Would still love a translation, should anyone be willing...
