This could very well be a fraternal piece, although there doesn't seem to be the usual symbolic decoration seen on such regalia. Ariels 'Shriner' assessment may be well placed however, as the 'scimitar' mystic look could apply. I am wondering also if this might be a theatrical piece.
Interesting item, probably goes back to turn of the century or into the 1920's. Best regards, Jim |
