Another jambiya in need of some TLC. WARNING: painful pictures inside

FenrisWolf Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 181	It hasn't been remounted yet, but this shows the progress on resetting the blade in the hilt. The red line shows the point where the blade enters the ivory. You can see how much more of the tang (which is welded on, BTW) projected from the hilt before I worked on it. I could get it a little deeper, but I think this is just about right.
