Well it is a little small. The figure is about 15.5 cm (six inches) high. But I think, from the shape of the end of the blade, it is my first Jimpul.
Can't tell if the blade is flat or whatever. The Shield is not for sale. Don't even ask. Not mine anyway. Opinions???? ![]() Wonder if I will get more views than responses?????

. I would guess 1930-40 as far as age goes. It looks like an art deco period bronze.Lew |

Just happened upon it with one minute and 40 seconds to go! Still got into a bid and counterbid with someone.
Will ask Arjan if he knows how old, but suspect that Lew is right. Deco period 1930's or so. |

Very nice Bill.
It looks like he once held something in his other hand as well. |

Hello Bill,
This jimpul looks like it has been made for ritual use. I wonder when a miniture shield or miniature bundel of skulls will be listed Best regards, Willem |

here another with a suberb inlayed blade,
the blade has very nice scrollwork (and a repair) the scabbard has also the same knots as a "real" one. (aviable at www.thehornbill.com) |
