Just happened upon it with one minute and 40 seconds to go! Still got into a bid and counterbid with someone.

Will ask Arjan if he knows how old, but suspect that Lew is right. Deco period 1930's or so.

I wonder when a miniture shield or miniature bundel of skulls will be listed

here another with a suberb inlayed blade,
the blade has very nice scrollwork (and a repair) the scabbard has also the same knots as a "real" one.

Very nice Arjan, does it have a flat or convex blade? How are the crowits?

That sure is a nice Batak sword you have there. I see it is sold. Must be some lucky new owner!
