, I knew the overall shape suggested Shona....but I have never seen one decorated this way....until I saw another for sale yesterday.

Apparently (the one for sale) is dated very early 20th century....is that a possible date for this one?.... are these common...or is it something a little more special ?

Found this description of this type of knife...if the narrative is correct this knife is dated late 19c / very early 20c I got this cheaply (2 portions of cod and chips...including postage)
