Hello RomaRana,
A very nice hilt! Interesting that the hilt is of the stacked variety, I didn't know this was practiced in eastern Africa. The one I have, and those I've seen on this forum, had the regular wooden scales with stubs. I can't tell from the picture if the blade has a forged rib or not. Is this locally produced or cut from a British machete? Regards, Emanuel |
