I do not have a macro lens for it. I use it just like it came out of the box. I only added a radio trigger (eBay, about $40) to control my studio strobes. I think this is one of the best cameras around. It has optical zoom of 12 to 1 (35mm - 319mm), image stabilization for low level shooting and a rechargable Li-Ion battery.

I use a 1 gigabyte memory card.

There are newer models of this camera, but I think it is enough. I got this one at Frye's (Display model) for $200. You should be able to find them on eBay.
