Keris For Comment

Hi Kai Wee, from the Seller this keris is classified as Sri Manganti, a Surakarta sub classification. I think the pamor lies somewhere between wos wutah and kulit semangko; most likely it is an early 19thC. piece and still has a fairly substantial blade.
The dress is fairly nice and older but nothing to knock your socks off; after all it is the blade that is the heart of the piece.
This is one of only a few old pieces that I have, they seem to be hard to come by in Jawa these days; real ones that is.
