Maybe Wrong Forum, But Need Help
I have acquired an 1896 Swedish bayonet, the one with the hollow knurled handle and the spring latch for the barrel sight. Can someone out there tell me how to take this thing completely apart? Or point me to the right forum that might? This has a mint Solingen blade on it that I would like to use for a project.

You Hit The Nail On The Head
Exactly what I plan on doing, except that I'm going to make it double-edged (almost identical to a Fairbairn-Sykes), and make a screw-in pommel to use the hollow handle. I'd just like a new full guard with the double-edge. If nothing else, (I can't find any pins in mine) I may grind the guard off, make a new one and peen it and pin it in place.
