No , not your bad Ron, I was saying that I think we're on the same page; if an image is posted on the 'net then it may be reused for educational purposes; OTOH if you were to use it in a commercial sense that is forbidden .
Since this place is free and non-profit I 'think' but I'm not 'sure' (where is Mark); that this is okay . Maybe David knows something about this being a pro photog.; paging David !! |

As far as I know you are right, generally speaking copy of pictures in the 'public domain' are OK to copy ...as long as they are not used in a commercial sense. But this is probably pysdo-law.......afterall if I was a legitimate lawyer.....I would spend about 2 hours a week working....charge astronomical amounts of money......spend huge amounts of time on 'Ethnographics' and spend all my wealth on truck loads of interesting weapons........Ah ....now... wheres my 'Dummies guide to Law'
