No , not your bad Ron, I was saying that I think we're on the same page; if an image is posted on the 'net then it may be reused for educational purposes; OTOH if you were to use it in a commercial sense that is forbidden .

Since this place is free and non-profit I 'think' but I'm not 'sure' (where is Mark); that this is okay .

Maybe David knows something about this being a pro photog.; paging David !!

As far as I know you are right, generally speaking copy of pictures in the 'public domain' are OK to copy ...as long as they are not used in a commercial sense. But this is probably pysdo-law.......afterall if I was a legitimate lawyer.....I would spend about 2 hours a week working....charge astronomical amounts of money......spend huge amounts of time on 'Ethnographics' and spend all my wealth on truck loads of interesting weapons........Ah ....now... wheres my 'Dummies guide to Law'

Please note....the views expressed by the aforesaid mentioned 'katana' does not represent the views or beliefs of the website named as 'Ethnographic Arms and Armour', Therefore the aforesaid website will not be deemed responsible for the statements solicited by the individual known as 'katana'........etc ...etc....etc....

Only joking....Solicitors, Lawyers , Briefs , Judges, Attornies etc that read this site are OK by me.....
