Hello Lew!
I know what you mean about it not looking very Turkish, I also see what you mean about it looking North African. This is just a guess but maybe these daggers come from Libya, once again only a guess. Is this theroy possible or not??? Mark... |

Definitely Turkish ...
A tourist knife from early to mid 20th C.
There is an identical example shown in Levine, p.481.* Here is Levine's description: "About 15 inches overall. Curved blade with arabic inscription. Hook-like pommel and guard of ebony.
