Here's one for viewing pleasure. Blade acquired from Scobey, Montana and fittings (with the exception of the pendokok) carved by Nik Rashidee Nik Hussein of Kelantan, Malaysia.

Gorgeous pamor and a beautiful job of re-dressing. I realize it is not necessarily the tradition with this type of blade, but i might be tempted give it a staining to really pop that pattern out.

Nik did a great job.

John, you really do attract top quality Bugis blades.

And the dress is befitting of the fantastic blade.
