The Spanish/Philippines example was the only piece that came with a sheath (silver mounted hide, partially damaged), but I didn't want to post it as I didn't want the latter(?) attached silver medal (as seen below) to distract from the overall evaluation of the dagger itself. Meaning................... I didn't want board members to focus their attention on the medal as opposed to the overall construction and craftsmanship of the dagger itself. I wasn't 100% sure if the dagger was/is Spanish/Philippines until I got confirmation from a group of experts such as yourselves.

The medal appears to be a later(?) attachment or possible original(?) given as a gift of achievement or honor, not really sure.
