When I started this thread, it was to showcase not only the Foreign Legion historically, but to learn more on the theaters of their campaigns, and of course the arms used. some more lovely pics from a book by · Baroness Lady Mary Elizabeth Herbert in the 1870ies on Algeria, although she travelled throught the Magreb ( hence also Tunesia and Morocco)
