Wheellock engraving

Greetings all - I am in the process of researching an all-metal wheellock and came upon this thread:

In particular I noted the critique of the engraving of that pistol, especially the dog and pommel.

The pistol I am looking at has rather sparse decoration, and I was hoping to get y’all’s opinions as to the engraving in the attachment. Many thanks in advance!
