It seems to me a little strange that the blade should be so well looked after indeed polished and yet the scabbard appears never to had a dressing in its life. It is an odd match.

![]() ![]() Tim the scabbard leather interia is soaked in a greasy wax like substance, hence the blades condition ![]() The cracked appearance to the leather is the bitumen paint they put on some kukri scabbards in France in WW1 to help stop the water absorbtion. The blade still has the makers surface Tim. Luckily I know the differance. Spiral |
