Cathey, I cannot help with a translation but thst is a very lovely katar with an unusual blade. The gold work is well preserved.

This katar is from city of Bundi in Rajasthan, most probably 19th century.
For similar example please see a Katar in MET museum: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/31504 Inscriptions on Bundi Katars are made normally in a local dialect and are almost impossible to translate - I wish you good luck finding a translator! |
